I love all things celtic, and illustrator is a great medium to produce knotwork, cos you can paste each part once you've drawn it...this is just a simple pattern, with deliberately bold colours, to show what can be done... it can get a lot more complicated - and it works great as a border.
Will happily share the illustrator file with anyone who's interested etc...

yeah - celtic knotwork is great - I love the patterning. There are a couple of good books out there that explain how to do it, if you're interested
