Finished~ugh I messed up and now I think it looks weird... sometimes I hate doing painting style on only one layer damn why did I merge it so early
I bet peeps don't understand wtf I'm talking about rn lol

You could also try working with 3 layers:
1 for base colour, 1 for sketch/lines, and then one for on top of the sketch where you paint,
you just pick the colours from the base layer with the drop tool and paint over it!
It has the same effect I think, but plus punt is that you still have the lines~~
