I think it's less "peace-loving" and more "realized that her track record with 'Go Punch The Bad Guy Into Submission' as Plan A is less than stellar, so it's time to try something new."
Granted, she has this epiphany when facing an enemy whom "Go Punch" would've probably worked, but live and learn.
I'm more intrigued about how she's going to handle Suyin and the twins running off to play assassin.Β I'm even more intrigued by what might happen in the likely event that, when they find Kuvira, Baatar will be with her.Β Are they really willing to go through him to get to her?
