England leaving America after the Revolutionary War ...........Haha finally drew a more landscape-type pic for Hetalia though I've been meaning to... I just got distracted by all the other retarded things I can draw for it
I randomly googled for references research for this pic but as you know, wiki is often inaccurate so... sorry if it's wrong! : ) I tried to paint it more detailed and like those classical painting style which is so coolll..... but I totally can't do it! All I have to say is GOD THIS TOOK A BILLION HOURS TO DRAW and also, I love textures and PS effects....aha, they help to hide the FLAWS. XD

The way you made England and the words "Goodbye, America." so small compared to the vast ocean and clouds is a really lovely detail that I think shows how weak and "tiny" England felt afterwards...

Haha thanks so much!! Clouds were funnest to draw lol I was actually trying to go for a calmer, melancholy feeling but then I overdid it having too much fun drawing clouds so it came out a bit dramatic haha.....
