England leaving America after the Revolutionary War ...........Haha finally drew a more landscape-type pic for Hetalia though I've been meaning to... I just got distracted by all the other retarded things I can draw for it
I randomly googled for references research for this pic but as you know, wiki is often inaccurate so... sorry if it's wrong! : ) I tried to paint it more detailed and like those classical painting style which is so coolll..... but I totally can't do it! All I have to say is GOD THIS TOOK A BILLION HOURS TO DRAW and also, I love textures and PS effects....aha, they help to hide the FLAWS. XD

It still looks good! Even though I have the drawing ability of a pogo stick, I wanna interpret the artwork.
The way you made the ships fade into the distance is a metaphor of England leaving America forever, and the way he's looking back to the mainland was like he didn't want to leave him, even though America wants him to.
I actually thought the Revolutionary War was awesome, but now it just makes me cry.

"can you see your eyebrows?" I looked up, and I could see the feint fuzz
"yeah"

what I hadn't realised was that she had stuck a sticky label on my back saying "ENGLAND!"
I was walking around the whole day with it!
