Commission for

I had quite alot of freedom to design this character with a few basic constraints which is all the more fun for me! So here is Alphonse, a 15 year old male priest.

You've made the eyes really sparkle in my opinion. I really love the work on the coat and the top (chainmail I'm thinking), is such a excellent contrast to the rest of it. The detailing of this particular bit really sets off the rest of the costume I think. Lastly, I always like your lighting, I think you add so much atmosphere. Great job!

Yes the chainmail.. so tedious and it left my hand numb after trying to rush the lines in I think i press abit too hard when drawing.

I have done that as well. You can kind of forget what you are doing with your hand when you are into your painting and only looking at the screen. Fortunately sometimes it is worth it. Remember give your hand a rest ... lol.
