This makes me really think about life and all the wonders, and events it holds. You have really captured the pain this person was feeling. The colors, lighting, and the expression just all flow and give it that sad grasp of the picture. Very well done, even though its sad

So incredibly potent. "This time there was no goodbye, I've missed you since." By just saying that little bit, you understand everything about the picture. Yet I think this is the kind of image that each person interprets according to their own experiences....which just goes to show how powerful of a piece it is.
Perhaps it isn't technically your best, but definitely one of your most meaningful.

You can completely see all the pain and anguish written on the character's face. And there's something incredibly beautiful about the character being slightly submerged in water and surrounded by flowers.

I love your use of light, it's very harsh but soft at the same time (like the brightness near the nose and mouth, its alot lighter then the rest of the piece but works so well).
