I wanted to do something serious like my Phoenix Wright: Rivals picture. So here I present Gir from Invader Zim. I love his monkey skull cup. XD
Tools: Paint.Net, mouse, tablet. Coloring time: 3.5 hours. Inspiration: Was bored and wanted to doodle, and this was easy to do. :]

I love the colors and EVERYTHING. And most of all i LOVE gir! xD
How'd you do the background? o3o

I used Paint.Net so it's a bit different than Photoshop.
But basically for the background, I did this:
1. Sepia
2. Saturation/Contrast: Purple & Pink and decreased the lightness
3. Zoomed in
4. Glow Image
And then I put it on a separate layer underneath the image of Gir and used the Glow layer. :]
I'll try to translate it to Photoshop afterwords for yah.
