First time drawing Zero in his MMZ design. At first I was all like "Is this the same Zero from the X games? He doesn't look like a reploid anymore" but now I know this is suppossed to be the Zero from a distant future. I didn't recognize him with that jacket-like armor, that "thong" and without his "green chest lights". Also, his Z saber looks different and he acts pretty colder. Did he just fuse with Shadow the hedgehog?

I don't hate the Zero series (in fact, I like it) but these games left a bittersweet taste in my soul to be honest (I have seen other series/games like these but they didn't have that impact on me)

Tried something with lightning this time, I think I did a nice job, specially on the jacket and shoes but I think I failed at drawing his face. This image is based off the ending of Mega Man Zero 4 when Zero stays in a falling satelite (Ragnarok) to prevent if from crashing and destroying a human colony (Sonic adventure 2 anyone?). This has to be the saddest ending in a video game I have seen since Super Mario Galaxy. I know he died and revived several times but this seems to be the final time he died (Not counting Model Z). I am still trying to get over it but it isn't very easy. That broken helmet shot just really got me. As if what happened to X wasn't enough. Are you serious Inafune?

Who am I kidding? ZERO!!!!

At least he will reunite with his old friends: The four guardians, Iris... and X. But his human ally Ciel and the others in Area Zero will miss him so hard.
