I think it's going to end up with one consuming the other, and it won't make a lick of difference who consumes who. . . end result will be the same.

Actually he wants the person who gave him the Blacklight virus dead which is the personification of the Blacklight virus we've played as in the first game. So even if Heller realizes that Alex Mercer isn't Alex Mercer he'll still want to kill him.

Huh. I thought he wanted to get revenge on the person who killed/whose actions resulted in the deaths of his wife and child. Virus!Alex isn't responsible for that, human Alex was. There ain't a damn thing Heller can do to him.

But yeah he isn't very happy about becoming a tentacle monster either.

I just hope they present this little dilemma instead of going for hurr durr revenge story.

I know, right? I mean if he were the human Alex (who, okay, was a Complete Monster ) I could totally see him doing that out of spite, but Blacklight!Alex has... a conscience. A lot of consciences, in fact. Even if he were doing it to get at Blackwatch it just seems odd because he knows about the sheer damage the virus causes on innocents, ie civilians and marines.
