well, when i made mew as a custom pony for my friend; i just made the cutiemark bubbles. pink bubbles; like the ones mew creates and bounces on in the 1st movie.
tbh i can't think of what i would make the cutie mark other than that.

i don't normally like drawing alicorns much.
i mean theyre awesome and stuff, but i don't draw them commonly.
but the only pokemon i would make alicorns are Mew and Arceus; the ancestor to all pokemon and the creator of all pokemon.

Well Mew is both small, can fly (using psychic abilities, but that would be a good cause for the horn too). As I said, it does make sense in a way.
