SO.I have no clue what I'm doing.
I never had but I would like to know what exactly where I'm going. I'm not sure if that made any sense. If it did then, you are already further than me.
I'm going to start on this project. It will invoke a lot of RPing and a lot of drawing. What I'm going to do is chronicle my RPs. Not all of them, just some of them, the ones that stand out to me, or are just fun to draw. I want to RP more, but I also want to keep on drawing, so I think this is a good mix. Some of it will be strange non-sequiturs, some will make complete sense. Most of them will not make any sense.
Everything will be done in this five panel layout, and it will be done fast. No more then 1 hour per panel, all B&W, no lineart. Critiques are always wanted.
It's essentially a journey to self-improvement and like all journeys, it is fraught with turbulent and trials. I will have to fight many demons along the way, like the Monster of Sleep, the Dragon of Laziness and his twin brother Unmotivation, and the always dreadful wrath of the Serpent of Schoolwork.
However, armed with my trusty tablet sword, my Shield of Keyboards and the Love of Friends, I think I can make it.

Etrit is Urbane's "friend", though it's perhaps the most one-sided friendship ever. I just thought the conversation was interesting. Oviously, Urbane has never had that sort of feeling for another so he can't comprehend Etrit's emotions.
But yeah, I'm pretty sure Urbane would have accused Etrit of being a zombie. Totally makes sense. CUPCAKES ARE SERIOUS BUSINESS.

Note to self: Need to find a way to balance greys. No color is hard. Also, lighting. And drawing white hair sucks. :C

Haha, yeah, your right, I ran out of time. I like drawing backgrounds too, sometimes more than people. Or the people just sort of get in the way of the background. Damn you characters! XD

No, but it was this RP group I was talking about! XD This RP didn't happen till later.
GETTING RID OF LINES REALLY HELP. I mean, I love lines, but once they're gone, drawing is completely different. It does free me a bit, you should try it! And for that stick up its butt, I think I have a pair of giant industrial pliers you can use! XD

Yes, and drawing everything on one layer! XD I did that on both strips! I think it's was something my teacher said, once you take out the safety net, you become a lot more aware of your limitations. And then you can improve on them.
The RP was the quick chat kind! It was really just building on a joke but then it spun off somewhere! I stop replying to it though, cause there wasn't anything interesting to be said anymore. Or I couldn't think of what Urbane would say. XD He's really difficult for me to RP with, actually. ><

For my RP project or the group?
For my project, nope. XD But for the group...also nope! XDXD The group seem to be member ran. And most RPs are chat based. Very loosely organized it seems, they only kinda, not really, gave us a setting and some guild lines, and the rest is a free for all for now. There really isn't any clear prompt or direction to RP, and the only RPs I gotten was because I went out to seek them or they commented on my art. I would like a bit more organization, but it's fun anyways. XD I have a huge trouble finding good RP groups but I find a lot of good one-on-one buddies so TILL THEN, one-on-one RPs for me!

Very often. Maybe even too often. XD I think a few years ago I would just RP from day to night, get a few hours of sleep, repeat! XD It does take me a long time to write a reply, cause I type up novels.
But yeah, now I just have one big RP at a time. I have a few small RPs, but they mostly die out. I write a lot so I usually expect a similar amount back. XD I know that's sometimes impossible though. I'm usually the person that makes RPs die though, cause I get too busy with school or I can't think of what to do next. Ahggghhh, it's the worst feeling in the world.
But I'M BORING. What about your RP habits? XD I never RPed with you before!

Haha, well, I can rp up to about 250-500 words a post, but I'd really rather not. I like it when characters can actually talk to each other...so...500 words of "So and so kicked a pebble and scratched his head wondering what to do next" is what I hate most.
I think I'd be pretty quick in reply, because I like advancing the plot and the characters' relationships, and getting things going. I tend towards shorter posts.

Well, I made all my characters flexible so they are ok in any setting, but I RP mostly in a modern setting with a fantasy element.
Let's see....three characters?
Um, I'm currently RPing with Intanus and I just getting use to him. He's a demon that renounced his kin and spends most of his time killing people before they kill him and telling Alouette to dust the shelves of his shop. Intan runs a small shop full of items he collected over the years and Alouette is one of those items. She gave her soul to him in exchange for her brother's life and she basically fell into a limbo in which she is still alive, but no one can remember her.
Bastion is a customer of Intan. His family was cursed with the power to destroy anything they touch. However, every time he uses his power, he loses a huge chuck of his mortality along with a part of his sanity. But don't worry, there are pills for that, in which Intan is the supplier. However, he is down to his last leg and uses his power very infrequently. He runs a small but elite gang of mercenaries, who only put up with his bullshit because they know that underneath the veil of madness is a genuinely good person. Urbane (the real Urbane, not this one) is part of this group.
And....that's three..ish. For now! XD
Any interest? If none of your characters match up, I can give a few more. I wanted to RP a new a character of mine, Robin, now that I think about it. BUT YEAH, TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK! XD

Haha, based on your three characters, I think I know which three of mine I would like to use. 
Since Intan runs a shop with supernatural qualities and/or items of similar nature (I'm assuming), it'd be a perfect set up for a meeting with three of my characters who do the same. That would be Derek, Ling and Kelath.
I actually know relatively little about these three, which is why they'd be great to RP with! Ling is an arrogant, wayward loner. She's a Fate-Dealer, which means she's responsible for guiding people towards their destinies, whether that's dishing out death in the form of a car accident, or leading people to their proper soul-mate in the current lifetime.
Derek is the owner of a---it's either a bookshop or an odds and ends shop---and he's a grouchy hermit with great people skills. XD He's a more experienced Fate-Dealer and he mentors Ling, who is in his territory and so is a liability until he trains her up right.
Kelath is the resident magic powerhouse. He's a millenia-old youkai from Babylonia XDDDDD. I heart this guy. He's the father figure for this motley crew and he kind of mediates between Derek and Ling.
They'd probably pay Intan a visit to buy something useful for their next victims, er I mean...yeah, victims. XDDDD
I can't guarantee I can rp for a long time. I have to study, so my replies can take up to a few days at worst. At least that's how I feel about it now.

I'm not really sure how to measure RP quality...but if you are talking about length, I usually write a few paragraphs in replies. But I'm not expecting everyone to do the same, really!
As for maturity, I don't know either. XD This stuff never comes up, but if I were to give a it a E for everyone to M for mature. ...Yeah, so I'm not sure that helped either. I don't think about it that much, actually...
I usually RP via the messaging system of the site, so here it would be through notes or email. I don't really know how to RP in a chatroom, HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? XD I have a rather erratic online schedule so that's why I do email instead of chats. And for time zone reasons. I try to do a few replies a day, depending if we are all online at the same time.
I can't do tonight cause I have to sleep now and then I have class from 8am-6pm. Sundays aren't good nights. >< I can do tomorrow night though! Do you usually do chatroom RPs?

YES, IT MUST BE PERVERTED. XD I think Etrit was talking about how company can make things seem sweeter, but Urbane never had any real friends or a lover so he does not understand the concept at all.

Oh, it's not that! XD The shading is rough not because I want it to be, it's because I don't know how to do it in any other way. That, and I over-paint a lot. Like the same why I over-type and over-think things! I want to be clear and concise as possible. AND I'M ALREADY DOING A HORRIBLE JOB AT IT RIGHT NOW! XD What is this, line 5?

I only use markers when I want to create flat colors or when I'm working on grayscale pictures (like manga panels or MCs x'D ). Other than that I'm more of a pencil and watercolor user. I can't really color on the comp LOL. Undo button is
