In case any of you have ever wondered what my influences are in my art.

In no particular order at all...

1. - Digimon
Definitely the best art style of ANY kids anime back in the 90's. Plus, kick ass monsters to boot. Used to spend a lot of my time doodling some Digimon and I gotta say I still enjoy it.

2. - Pokemon
Not so much on the same scale of Digimon in regards to art, but oh man; The time me, my brother and my cousin spent having drawing competitions based off pokemon. Genius~

3. - Fantasy movies
More influencing my story writing than anything else, I get most my ideas for OCs from movies/tv shows (in case it isn't obvious). Werewolf there cos... Werewolves are cool.

4. - Sonic
Guilty pleasure, ahoy! I used to thoroughly enjoy the Sonic games (prior to Sonic Heroes) as well as the TV series (prior to Sonic X). And if you check through my scraps you'll see I drew a lot of Sonic back in the day.

5. - `Ashwings
One of my long-term idols since I joined DA. I've kept track of her web comic for some time and oh god, the style is to die for (that and it's a zombie apocalypse). Definitely a supurb influence on me.

6. - Wei Wang and World of Warcraft art
Ever since I started playing WoW some 3 years ago, the style of the art work has just blown me away specifically that of Wei Wang and Glenn Rane. A few more examples of there work can be found here [link] [link] [link] [link]

7. - Music
Need I say more?

8. - Cartoons
Every artist growing up wants to be a cartoonist, right? Cartoons have always had an influence on me and my art (though not so apparant in my style).

9. - Bryan Lee O'Malley
A fairly recent one, you may know him as the artist behind the Scott Pilgrim comic books. He has such an awesome way with developing characters and using such a simple style, it truly is inspiring.

10. - Old school gaming
The good ol' days. I often replay my old video games which definitely gives me a boost in the inspiration department. Again, look in my scraps; plenty of old school game art.

11. - Studio Ghibli
The epitomee of awesome Japanese animation. Made some of the best anime films I can think of and certainly have heavily influenced my style since I first saw Howl's Moving Castle some time ago.

12. - =D-oubleHelix
Ever since her first account on here I've stalked her work and adored how she did both digital and traditional art so flawlessly. That combined with her amazing style have certainly influenced me to try and go the extra mile.

13. - Weather
Self explanitory? I think so. Hur hurrrr

14. - Disney and other animation
Put Lion King on there since it is my all time favourite animated movie. But there are certainly others which are simple captivating outside of Disney such as Anastasia and Road to El Dorado. Not much Disney lingers in my style anymore but I hope it's clear to see the influence it had on me.
