I think it's a bit too dark in color and it obscures some of the details because of it, but he looks cooler like this. If I lighten him up, it just doesn't look as awesome.Related content

So, both romanizations are technically OK. Said that, I think that the official Gainax romanji is "Lazengann" (with the double N as you can see in the official merchandise [link] )
