Description please note that this is a work in progress so the full body is extremely rough and maybe not quite functional, haha. For the final version I'll have a full-bodied upright version, and I'll try to figure out the logistics of how the thing moves, with closeups of important body parts and the pulley/rod system of muscles (in Squire, Kel climbs "cables" all the way up to its torso in order to trap the head). I do like the headshot though, which is why I'm uploading it (I go back to school tomorrow so there won't be updates for a few days maybe).

That is so much worse than anything I imagined. It's more accurate to the description than what I imagined, too.

Good job.

I always pictured them like, tank sized for some reason, but I think they're even scarier when they're smaller like this O__O

Sittin' here, being creeped out by the perfect killing machine head of doom, giggling helplessly over "hi there." So Kel. So bloody Kel.

I agree that the head is rather creepy and the eyes look spot on, but, if I recall correctly from when I did the research on the killing devices, there isn't supposed to be any neck or vulnerable area where the head connects to the body as there would have to be for this head. I like the look of the spine bones sticking out and I don't think there's anything in the description to contravene that. Also the tail looks quite good; its size/weight seems in proportion with the rest of the device.

Very nice - I'd always imagine the head a bit flatter and wider, but this looks waaay creepier!

that head is perfect! I dunno about the front legs though; I haven't read this series in a while, do they bend like that? It looks like a lizard, and I always thought of it like a creepy giant :S

I'm not sure about the front legs yet either but the machine is compared to a "rat or insect" when it's on all fours and its limbs have three segments, so I took that angle from insects . It does walk upright on two legs sometimes as well though.

Oohhhh yes that's right, I forgot it had three parts to its limbs :/ I always found that hard to visualize...

In that case, this looks good!

XDDD "Hi there."

Kel you are WAY too polite. XD

That cracked me up. Great job though, I never really DID have a visual for the killing machines, but this pretty much sums it up for me.

Haha I still kind of hate the body of the design so don't take that visual to heart yet, but thank you.
