I decided I would redesign Quince a bit back in late fall/early winter 2019, But I only got around to finishing it yesterday and today. And I really love her new design, I completely threw out the diamond patterns since it would take me 1-2 hours to do every single one. Plus I was starting to lose connection to her. So, I completely remade her. I did keep some of the same colors, but I wanted to make a more detailed reference, so I included an inventory of enchanted items she owns, and more abilities. (ngl, my favorite inventory pieces are the scarf and little jade turtles.. :>)

I love her new design >w< I did like the diamonds and some of the darker blue-greens, but I get how those would be a pain to draw every time. The wings look amazing.

So do I, and I was on the fence about completely removing the diamonds, I kinda just wanted more of a simple easy to draw design for her instead of something overly complicated, plus I wanted her SeaWing side to be more prominent. And thank you!

This makes me feel like I should probably design some of my characters X3 I have quite a few, but only one is actually designed and the rest are all just really old headshots that may or may not be posted/explained. You seem pretty good at keeping up on your character references.

I started this a while back last year. @^@ I'm terrible at keeping up with references... but go for it! Designing characters is very therapeutic sometimes!

At least you ended up posting it uwu i only post about 2/5 of my completed art projects, and I only finish a few of the ones I start. I guess now that this whole quarantine stuff is going on I finally have some time to post stuff and draw leisurely, yay.
