Description
This is my first render test with Reality 3. I didn't demand a lot from it, didn't put any fancy lights in or even an environment sphere, and it still gave me some nice IDL shading after only a couple of hours that I rendered while away from the keyboard sleeping or eating. Not bad for fiddling around not very seriously! I'll have to try a portrait with good lighting, next.Related content

It looks like a real doll. Like, a doll cast out of resin or something.Β

That is indeed nice for two hours! Β And he doesn't have Reality Skin Syndrome, either. Β I Β bet you're going to get fantastic results with the fancy lights.

What's Reality Skin Syndrome?

Some people's Reality renders featuring characters also feature completely flat, dead skin and eyes whereas their inanimate-only renders look fabulous. Β It's caused by assuming Reality is a magic button and not bothering with careful shader and light settings. Β I suspect it'll never be an issue for you personally, since those are both areas where you've always been conscious and thorough.
