Development Progress 2016!
The past year had been quite a journey for myself. I was able to break through the depression that severely hampered my progress and vision in my art for the past five years. But I do not regret anything that had happened to me, as it was through that experience that I was able to get to where I am today.
2015 was a year of a change, a year of fresh starts, and re-imagined vision. Now ending this wonderful year, I have the dream job of my life (albeit junior stage) and was able to bring back a personal project and dearly loved characters of mine whom I first brought to my life in 2009.
Hereβs hoping that 2016 will be even better, to me and to everyone else who reads this.

I'm happy for your personal progress and that you have no regret and take experiences (good and bad) as one should - a tool to improve and let yourself shape them to get better, tougher.

Your evolution is rather impressive... I am ashamed to say this but I gave up on drawing when i didn't feel like I was improving... I can respect sticking with it...Β

Improvement I think comes in many forms. For example, I wouldn't say I have improved on CGI backgrounds and bringing out the depth in the concept. But then I have improved in other areas like anatomy and shading. So I tend to think less about improving than I would on exploring what I can do first? And enjoying that as I go.

well I've been improving with story telling... no nothing to do with drawing... but it's improvement... I gave up on drawing partly because I didn't feel like I was improving, but also it stopped being fun... it wasn't long after I finished with drawing when I picked up writing, and loved it...Β

I am insanely jealous of your improvement. I'm 20 now and am about your age 14 skills... Based on that, I might be 30 when I reach something like your age 19 skills!! Yikes!!
