Description
THE STORY:It was a bug, that much was clear. A really nice one, if one looked closely - white with black dots:
One day the lovely white bug with black dots found a lovely site. It was warm and comfortable, full of llamas and kittens, and (here the bug's antennae curled in excitement) a code that looked really tasty and juicy. For several moments it just ran around, like a kid in a three-storeyed candy shop, wanting to taste it all and not knowing where to begin. It ran into some fella (well, not literally, just met him somewhere on the way from the headquarters to the login page), but it managed to avoid him, hiding behind a daily deviation.
When the fella left, the bug peeked out from behind the picture of a scantily dressed lady, and saw a place where the code was especially tasty - a lot of '<'s and '>'s and many '/'s as well. The bug was so excited, that it wiggled its tectrices, almost losing one dot. . Then it started happily munching on the code.
For a while, nothing happened. The site ran smoothly, just with an occasional Internal Server Error, but that didn't have to be the bug's fault, really. It was only a few hours later, that strange things started to happen.
The first to notice was =. = called at $: "Something is wrong with my gallery! Please, fix it!"
$ replied: "Did you try to turn off =?"
So = turned off =, becoming just a regular *. "Hey $, there is still something strange!" * called.
Meanwhiles also ~ started complaining, but $ ignored them for the time being, writing a note to *: "Thank you for the notice, we will look into it."
Alarmed by the growing number of complaints, $ started searching the site, suspecting a bug. It was too late, though...
There was a number in the code. Number 2 (2D, to be precise). The bug was already quite full by that time, resting after a good meal and just toying with the food. It didn't like the number 2. It looked so... assymetrical. Now 3, that was a nice symmetrical number. Or 8. It hesitated for a moment, deciding between 3 and 8. At the end, it decided for 3 - it didn't require so many circles. Yes, 3D looked so much nicer than 2D...
The deviations started to be unrestful. Something was happening... $ tried to calm them, but almost got a heart stroke when a vulture on a photo stretched its wings - out of the frame! Meanwhiles the other deviations started to explore the new dimension as well. A pencil drawing of a ranger (not bothered by its lack of color at all) used a rope to climb out of the picture, while two chibies vere helping each other to get from the frame. The others followed without much hesitation.
What ensued was chaos. Deviations were running around, all cathegories mixed together. Traditional art argued with Digital art over a digitally colored pencil drawing, who didn't look happy about the whole situation, an almost apologetical expression on his face. A young fractal was listening to the tales of an old BW photography about the "good old times" (gracefully overlooking the fact that she was made with a digital camera). There was a heated copyright discussion among the Fan arts, with a helpful stock image acting as a moderator. The deviations took over the site...
And the bug who caused it all? It made a nice nest from the loosened code, and fell asleep, not caring for the chaos around.
This is our submission for the round 3 of "Team dArt Showdown" [link] , with the topic "Bugs eye view".
Our team:
We decided to intepret the bug as... you know, the bug
put together the background from our pictures, you will find more detailed description here:
I made the fluffy bug
For this round, we were quite pressed with time, with *SnowBerenika having exams, *jankolas having to leave unexpectedly in Tuesday and me leaving in Friday, so I'm glad we managed to put it all together!

Hey!
I am also from the opposing team
I just wanted to give you all a big congratulations for making such an amazing entry. I would never have thought to use the word "bug" as in a software bug. I'm even wondering if the judges haven't seen this coming
Well done on your interpretation and putting it together. Like =pixiepot said, we've all agreed that you'll probably take out first place, so congratulations!

Thank you very much! We have just taken the "you may interpret this however you would like" part literally
Like I said to =pixiepot , I hope both of us will win something, having made it so far already, regardless of who takes the first place. It was an honor competing with you!

You've done an amazing job on this. I am a member of your opposing team and I just want to say well done and the best of luck, not that you'll need it. We've all agreed within our team that we think you're team has probably won the contest, so, if we're correct, congratulations! You completely deserve this.

I didn't know you got as far as this in the contest - congratulations! You definitely deserve it.
Cool interpretation, wonderfully done... The story is super cute, as is the real 3D bug. I thought it was a kitty it first...
Once again, good luck!

The story turned out so cool! And from other 3 versions, this one, as I said before, is really, really best one! Light falls so nicely! I totally enjoyed it, both!
And final result is totally outstanding! If I didn't know bug is not so dangerousless , I would totally cuddle it!
