When I did this painting, it started with that tingle you get when you wake up from a good dream. I love Elves, and I love playing with Light. I also wanted to depict a male...strong, physical yet exceptionally sensual. I went with an Elf with really long ears. Normally I really don't like that but some how it works really well in this piece. I actually prefer the small delicate ears like in Lord of the Rings. It is one of my most realistic paintings and I am really looking forward to getting it printed and hanging it in my bedroom*grins*Related content

Reading what you wrote in the description of this peice of art I can only see myself. I agree with everything you like. I too am not fond of the overly lengthy ears on elves and prefer the sublty of the LOTR style, but as you say in this painting the lengthy ears give it...something else fascinating. I love playing with light also, its my fav thing 
The silver hair and the body shape remind me of my elven character, Valafar. Its stunning truly. Why it hasn't got more favs I do not know...
