You guys may think that Sky was to blame for the whole Keith thing. You think that she wanted to dump him for no reason. And you may all think that she had plenty of time to break up with him before coming to Total Drama. Well... YOU'RE WRONG!I have just learned that the reason why Sky wanted to dump Keith was because "he cheated on her" for her best friend (I guess Sky does have friends outside of the show). And the reason why she ran out of time was because she found out the night "before" TDPI began, so she really didn't have any time to confront him.
In fact, "this" was the original twist in the finale before the writers decided to change it; making it look like Sky was the bad guy. Also, in the original, Dave "did" listen to Sky and understood why they couldn't be together yet. Why did they have to change and ruin this? ... Because they wanted to do this in The Ridonculous Race and not have it feel all that similar (Shelley ditched Devin for her Tennis Instructor and Emma X Noah; A.K.A. Anti-Skave).
I can't believe that the writers would abandon a good piece of writing for what we were given just to use it in the spin-off. They should have just stuck with this original script. The series NEEDED this to save itself from the past seasons. Now we have 3 characters who have been cheated on; Courtney (when Duncan ditched her for Gwen without telling her first), Devin (which must have been the main reason why she didn't want to compete with him), and now Sky.
So, who's the real bad guy now?

yes. it really sad that they decided to make sky, a great characters, to look like a bad person.
actually, in the original script we learn about keith's cheathing in the 5th episode (when dave confess sky). so sky told dave that because of keith she doesnt feel ready for a new relationship and dave understood her.
so the whole season we led to belive that she dumped him already. but in the finale chris show dave a footage from a secrurity camera of sky say goodby to keith and her sister before she boarded the plane and keith kiss her. the twist is that sky never brock up with keith. and later she explain that she find out about keith's cheating one night before TDPI began so she did not have time to dump him.
actully this is why we see Sky's sister in the final episode of the RR. her model was created for TDPI finale. but becasue Sky's original storyline was scrapped they used her sister model as backroud character. i read a rumor somewhere that they actually create a model for keith but they used it for Tom in the RR. but i don't know if that is true

i know. and TDPI is not the first time it happened. every season there is some big scrapped storyline:
TDI - Noah's original role was to be part of Heather's alliance (without anyone to know about it) and was supposed to be a double agent: Be trent's friend but at the same time he tells heather everything trent tell him about gwen. eventually in the merge noah (who really like trent) feel really bad about what he is doing so he quit from the game to spare trent from elimination and redeem himslef (this is why in some old TDI promos he labeled as "the schemer"). this storyline scrapped when the writers decided that heather's alliance will work better if all of the members are females. and they did not have much time to create new plot for noah so they eliminate him early.
TDA - this is just my theory but it make sense. There was a huge build up on lindsay this season and she really became the main protagonist. everyone was so sure she will be a finalist and she will win. but just from nowhere her stupid elimination came. i think lindsay was the original choice for the female finalist and they keep this plane for most of the season untill her elimination episode. why they did it? becasue the creators love duncan and they wanted him to win the season. but lindsay is much more popular than him among the fans. and they worried that the fans (who can vote this season) will vote for lindsay. so they replaced her with beth, much less popular, to make sure that duncan will win in canada.
TDWT - i don't know about some scrapped storyline but i heared a rumor that eva was the origial character that supposed to join to the rest of the Competitors in the merge (instead of blainley) but her voice actress could not return to they changed it to blainley. there is also a rumor that sadie was the one who arrived to the merge but they scrapped it because her VA and lindsay/katie's VA hate each other ("isn't it ironic. dont you think?")
TDROI - i read a rumor that dawn's original plane was to be zoey's best friend. she knew about mike's MPD all the time and when she find out that zoey in love with mike, she actually tried to conviced mike to do the right thing and tell her the truth if he really likes her. scott hear their conversation and tell zoey about it and he blame dawn for it. so he makes everyone to vote for her. but for some reason they did not do it so we got the "the treasute island of dr mclean" (with is the worst TD episode in history) with dakotazoid instead of a nice story when dawn has much more screantime.
TDAS - so the season supposed to be much more longer with six more characters: leshawna, noah, owen, dawn, brick and anne maria. and theme is old cast vs new cast (instead of heroes vs villians). but later the decided to split season 5 to two sapare seasons (all stars and PI) so they had to remove few characters from the season: leshawna, noah, sam and dawn. and later they did it again with the remove of owen and anne maria. and later they removed brick and replaced him with sam. and then they decided of the heroes vs villians theme. and the original final two changed. the original final two were zoey (who really was a finalist in this season) and courtney. so there was a plane for female final two (after the male final two in season 4) but they did not do it. why? i have no clue
TDPI - the whole keith's cheating thing
RR - the fashin blogger supposed to make it much further. and actually it reavled that tom and jaques are gay. and they fall in love with each other and become a couple by the end of the season. but cartoon network forced them to scrapped this idea. but still tom confrimed to be gay (even this information never mentioned on-screen)

The changes in TDI and TDRR are not as serious, they are very common.
Both seasons are the best, the others vary from good to regrettable.

Sheesh, the writers can't just leave their original ideas in the final product. Also why would CN scrap having a gay couple in TD. They've done it with other shows.

i know. this is really odd move from them.
and if talk about scrapped plotline from RR: the original final two were the cadets and the sister. bring back the surfers was a decestion of the last minute.
so again we lost the chance for female final two
i really hope to see female final two (hope for lindsay and courtney) in the new season. becasue if not....

Wow ... what changes the perception of a character, with a little change of writing, this only proves, that Sky is a victim and Dave the poor guy used, by the evil and despotic Chris 
I hope these two can be redeemed, in the sixth season, if they choose, for now are confirmed Bridgette, Harold, Courtney, Lindsay and Duncan.
And if they are not chosen, in the second season of The Ridonculous Race, that Spin off, makes couples (boyfriends, friends, family) better than they were before

I hope Chris in this new season, stop being that bastard misanthrope, seriously was not funny, torturing Dakota, leaving Scott comatose, almost killing balloons towards the sun, almost all contestants, almost kill everyone again The concussionists in an explosion, turning Dave into a vengeful madman. Fuck ... I do not know if it will be the majority opinion, but I did not feel good with these shit.
