Description I drew this during school and the only reference material that helped my through out this pic, is the instruction manual from the box that I brought with me to school. After I was finished sketching the red Rahkshi, I came home, turned on the desk lamp, directed the light to the posed creature, and colored it like that. I'm really proud of this piece of work though. I've never really done anything as articulate as this before. Those are bionicle words around it. On the left it says, "Rahkshi"; on the top it says, "Turahk"; and on the right it says, "The fiery of Makuta will perish from my body." In the bionicle world, these creatures are the bad guys. In my world, these guys are the heroes at times. In fact, Turahk even has a girlfriend (which is my cousin's barbie since she wanted to be "friends" with my toy)!

Picture by Samantha Hoang
Note: The scanner destroyed yet another one of my pictures, and it looks messier than the original piece.

Nice highlights, the detail is great as well. Could be a bit cleaner though.

lol, I don't consider myself an amazing artist.

Don't ya just hate quality-eating scans?

Wow, thank you so much for the comment! I didn't expect such an amazing artist like you would comment on any of my pictures! Thank you! I'm really glad you liked it! ^___^

lol Yeah, it can be a bit cleaner, but I didn't have the right mediums at the time so I used my dull, bent coloring pencils. Plus my scanner had seemed to eat some of the coloring off of it, since the original looks better than this. O_o;

lol Thanks a gigantimundo bunch for the awesome comment! I drew this picture 2-3 years ago though... And I can't even believe that I had enough patience to do this kind of thing. I'm very glad you like it though!

Why thank you!! I used to be a Bionicle fan too, but I was mostly fascinated with the Rahkshis since they reminded me of reptiles. But anyways, thank you very much for the lovely comment. :3 Greatly appreciated.

woo... that's alot of detail @_@ I noticed the little dot dipping into the 'hand'. That's some serious detail I can't handle drawing Bionicle stuff cause of that. You pulled it off very nicely! It takes distinct talent to draw from observation like that. And you managed to keep everything looking realistic still! I tip my hat to you for that. The coloring job is also of great quality. O: I would so love to see the original pic.
Fav to you cause this deserves at least one D: (and I think it rocks)

Aww thank you a gigantimundo bunch for such an awesome comment! x3 I drew this picture about.... 2 or 3 years ago I believe. One of those years, but all I had to help me with the picture was that little instruction manual that showed you how to put the pieces together. It was kind of difficult to me, but I got through and I was pretty proud of the amount of detail. But since the scanner kinda caught the smudgy-ness behind the picture, it looks a bit messy. Evil scanner indeed....

I thank you once again for an awesome comment and the wonderful fave too!
