well hes called spring trap for a reason that being, when a person wears a suit they have to lock the mechanisms in place so that they can actually fit in the suit, but as the recordings of phone guy said, there was a tendancy for the suits mechanisms to come loose and spring back into place, which is what happened with purple guy. so yeah they became one. as for the eyes, that can be explained by one of phone guys messages from FNAF 1
