so this was a request for of her OC Dressed up in the uniform.I'm sorry it took so long >.< It took the longest time to come up with the pose that actually looked good and 3 dimensional. I have tons of pages of okay looking poses to attest to that.
Finally I had to reference a photo ;w; (I've lost diginity as an artist), I went looking for the link and I can't find it anywhere. Anyways it was this one with the whole cast and their 3D maneuver gear, I just took a reference for her torso (off one of the male characters) and the legs and air gear were drawn without a reference.
This is my first attempt at trying to do Attack on Titan fan art, so I'm quite pleased on how this came out with the color scheme:3 I hope that you enjoy it!! Now I must attend to my other requests!
Sorry this isn't my normal coloring style! I was trying something new out! and I think I quite like it :3

even though you used a reference photo it's hard to make it look natural.. but this is so PRO AND AWESOMMEE ;7; i tried so many times to make attack on titan fanart but my poses... even with reference xD

yeah those poses are the bane of my existence, just think of the creator of the manga and all those animators, what pain they must have to endure to produce such stunning poses

That pose. Is. Amazing. The colours are so cool too, like, they all mix together in a nice brown-ish setting. The background is also amazing, it holds a ton of depth and it just looks bright.

as for the background, if was just a few brush strokes but it took a while to get the tones down

Professional, aww you flatter me too much, but my way at attacking that was okay it's going to be yellow, and I just started drawing yellow and orange and pink lines everywhere and then smudged everything with a wet paint brush and added some white and tried to make cloud like forms until it looked goodΒ

and I'm totally with you on the shoulders, one always looks higher than the other when doing a front shot! They never look balanced
There's this one website it's a place where people speedpaint and post it up and you should see some of the art there, the thumbnails look all super detailed but once you see it drawn all it is, is just some strokes strategically placed and smudged xD

I'd decent at feet, sorta... but designing shoes is such a drag :I
Bare feet are the worst.... at most my characters wear slippers instead of bare feet.... compromising!
I'll have to do some more 'research' on speedpaint.... the only thing I do is surf youtube all day so it might help xD
I saw one really amazing speedpaint and it got me extremely depressed ; - ;

shoes used to be really difficult for me but i forced myself to draw them and now its an easy task. Just practice drawing feet (not bare and No matter how much you detest the thought) and just draw them, you'll get better!
I find speed paints to be fun to watch, but they aren't very helpful when the artist doesn't put in some commentary with what brushes they used opacity, things like that, but it's very interesting to watch the process of different artists.
Don't be depressed! Just Think: "Someday I'll be able to do something amazing like that If I put enough effort forward"

I'm decent at shoes and stuff once I get a design down, but I'm definitely up for more learning.
Speed paints are fun and sometimes they give good inspiration or ideas for colours and mixing. But yeah, I tend to dislike when they forget the commentary... especially when the title says "tutorial" and it's just a 3 minute video of them drawing D:<
