Too hungry to think of a better title right now (help me, *MamaLucia !).

This has been in WIP-Hell for a while, but I immediately asked and snatched this from *Keysha-chan during her R&C:ACiT binge -- almost a year ago, was it? Man I suck at punctuality... Point is, even though I don't much care for chibis like I used to back then, when it comes to alien space rats (I think he's more like a cat) done in this form and style --ha! you know the rest

This was done in Photoshop (CS4) in a similar approach with these two oldies:

The major difference is this: PSCS4's sweet, sweet Adjustment layer feature. If you don't know what it is, look it up, because it's SUCH a powerful thing to use, being able to adjust the colors and levels and such on the fly without loss resolution. (Did that make sense? )

I'm hoping this isn't too bright for you guys, but I'm trying to figure out how much value there can be in order for something like this to be printed on high-quality paper without it looking so dark in the final comp (I've had that difficulty with previous ones like my AnthroCon 2008 print). Not that I plan on printing this, but experimenting on other people's stuff (with permission, of course) is how I learn best when it comes to art.

Oct. 29, 2011. Added an extra layer of shadow for more depth, made the lense flare a bit more prominent, and added a glow effect to Ratchet's blue neon armor.
