"Oh, you are actually still in there," Lillian said. "I would've guessed you'd end up getting grabbed before the transformation wore off."

"Well, I didn't," Julia said, pounding on the glass. "Now, will you get me out of here?"

"No, that would be cheating," Lillian grinned and pulled out her pocket spellbook.

"Lillian, don't you fucking dare," Julia yelled as she was transformed back into a heart-shaped pillow.

"Now, let's see if I can pull you out," Lillian said as she put a quarter into the machine.

She moved the claw over the pillow next to Julia with an evil grin on her face and dropped the claw down. The claw grabbed the pillow and held its grip as it brought the pillow over to the collection bin.

"Okay, Julia, I'll bring you home and turn you back," Lillian said as she walked away with the pillow with the most evil grin on her face.

Julia sat there in horror; Lillian had accidentally grabbed the wrong pillow, and she was going to be stuck there for the next 24 hours as a pillow with the chance of getting grabbed by a stranger and becoming permanently transformed. Over the next few hours, Julia watched the boardwalk lights turn on as the sun went down. People started flooding in, especially couples. One teenage couple approached the claw machine and slid a quarter into it. The boy moved the claw over Julia's pillow body and dropped it, but the claw couldn't get a grip. The boy tried again, but he was only able to have the claw lift up Julia before it lost its grip. On the third try, Julia was grabbed, but she got caught on the rim of the collection bin and fell back in with the rest of the pillows. However, on the fourth try, the boy was able to drop Julia into the bin, and he pulled her out. The boy's girlfriend hugged Julia, and they continued on with their date night. Julia had to sit through the torment of being a forced third wheel without any way of knowing whether or not Lillian had realized her mistake. When the couple was done with their date, the boy dropped off his girlfriend at her home, and Julia was placed on the girl's bed.

The next day, Lillian approached the claw machine and saw that Julia was nowhere inside, and she laughed.
