How's the show? I can't find much about it.
I normally don't watch fanservicy-type things but this girl really is adorable. How much fanservice is there compared to actual plot? Is it funny? Etc.

It's by Kyoani so it's pretty light on fanservice. There's not much plot since it's a slice of life but I think it's cute enough to be watchable. If you want something funny you're better of watching Konosuba but then you get DEEN animation quality.

Just finished watching the first two episodes of Dragon Maid.
First impressions are pretty positive I'd say. Tohru is super cute and sexy at the same time. Kanna is adorable. I like the animation style a lot too.
I think I'll watch more because of that, but usually when shows or games add lots of girls who are just more rehashes of the premise I get fed up by the end and lose interest, (like Rozen Maiden or Forbidden Magna) and it looks like from the OP and ED that there'll be five dragons. Meh. Not sure how to feel about that. It might kill the series for me if I don't like the others.
But I certainly enjoyed Tohru and Kanna, and the general charm and animation style are enough to convince me to watch a few more episodes. Thanks for the recommendation!
PS: The only proper way to thank someone for a recommendation is to give one of your own. I watched the first episode of Gabriel Dropout as well recently, and it's awesome. It's not as funny as Konosuba (episode 3 S2 had me dying), and it's not as charming as Dragon Maid, but it still has a good mix of charm and hilarity. If you ever get around to checking it out, let me know what you think!

Glad to hear you enjoyed it. Although I agree with you, I'm not a big fan of large casts either since it just ends up taking screentime away from other characters and diluting the overall experience.
I've been watching Gabriel dropout too, I like it enough although the jokes aren't anything new, but the characters are interesting. I always love it when I hate a character in a series and Gabriel definitely fits the bill for that, and doga kobo always brings a good amount of cuteness to their shows.

And yeah I agree Gabriel Dropout's puns themselves aren't new, but the premise about angels acting like demons and demons acting like angels is pretty clever in of itself for me so it's forgiven in my mind.
Out of curiosity, have you watched Nichijou? I recently bought it and haven't gotten around to watching it yet, but I plan on watching it soon, and I'm curious to hear more feedback on it.
