Description
Just a light bulbSorry for the grainess. After one day and a half of rendering, I don't know exactly what happened, because I wasn't at the computer, but I think it restarted.
Why it took so long? Because of two things. The filament emitter has lots of polys, and ,mainly because I left the light dispersion on.

Grain or not this is a great image, I love the attention to detail in the bulb, and it was brave of you to render so many emitter polys in the first place.

Did you use any materials with a brightness of 1 (ie. pure white)? That could cause the graininess.
If you set it to 0.9 or 0.8, that should fix it...
