"Someone will always hurt you"
... I must make an art piece that captures this for me. But I love what you've done, I love what it means, and that it does mean something. Thank you, and congratulations for getting the attention of this community!

i love the pose - i can really feel her putting her weight on her left hand and can see that she is struggling and almost off balance. the combination of the pose and the darkness enveloping the figure goes very well together. you obviously know how to tastefully set an extreme mood in your work - without being redundant. you are also a pro at creating a three dimentional field in your drawing with the fore-most body part, the knee, reflecting a bright light; whilst her toreso is back with the shadows.
was this done completely from a figure study - did you manipulate your original drawing in post-production on the computer at all? more specifically, i am curious as to whether the reflection was traditionally or digitally created.
you have incredible illustration skills. your practice has surely paid off and your talent radiates through your entire gallery. also, congratulations on the daily deviation feature! WOW. your very first work posted. that is awesome!
keep loving life.

Great comment
The reflection was made digitally, as you can see where the water and the "shore" are joined, to the left. My guess is that he copied the image above, darkened it and flipped it over.

thanks. that is what i also suspect - if so, it is a great usage of resources and a nice blend of mediums. if there was no digital touches, then damnit - what an amazing geometrist! haha

Exsquisitely moody. It is good to see someone who is well rounded in both the digital and fine arts.
