Description
This sterling silver bird is hand fabricated entirely from 1 mm silver sheet. It consists of 4 pieces, and is pretty sturdy. There is almost no chance of accidentaly braking off a wing (unless you accidentaly saw it of). No casting was involved in making this, just me sawing and filing and soldering.It's slightly less than 2 cm across the wings. (That's a bit less than an inch, I think.)
Oxidized and polished to bring out the pattern on the wings and body.

So impressed! It certainly looks like it was cast, wouldn't of known otherwise! Love the bail too.

Yes, most people I have shown it to assumed it was either cast or made with silver clay.
