I suggest that you add more details to his face, though. Like really outline his features. It's just with that bright line lighting up his face I was expecting more detail there, have me be like "WHOA!"

I'm glad, that's how it should be. I just wanted to help. But I don't know much about drawing and shading. :/ Shading especially. I'll just stick to writing I guess.

but as I explained to Ashine-chan;
"I like the shading in his face because the light is like RIGHT THERE and the shading offered is soft. sooooo I like it as is. =w= if I'd've wanted it to be a brighter light I would've made the shading darker. I'm not stupid on my tones XD"
Also, since the light is already intense not a lot of details are added. Darker lines make it seem like there's shadow when there's not.
