From our fanfic Simple Steps' finale. That's three doodles I've done for the finale, and I feel a little sorry for the readers, because they still have such a long way to go before they understand what these doodles mean...Anyway, for this one I wanted to attempt doing something graphic. Instead of just going a fill by number I wanted to see what effect I could do with the minimal amount of color - in this case 4: black, white, red, and blue. The effect is very different from anything I've done before... It captures a little of what I wanted but not everything. It was a good experiment, if nothing else.
I don't like how the eye travels in this. It starts at the bottom corner and follows the lightsabers up to Obi-Wan - which I want, but keeps going and it doesn't circle back to him. Hm... need to work on that one...

A lot of readers were stressed reading the fic - we weren't expecting that. Well, the delicious tension yes, but the out and out stress not so much...
It's high praise indeed you want it turned into a movie. Thanks! (Though I doubt Disney would appreciate it all that much...)

No need to apologise - I just happen to get really worked up inwardly on occasion when I read stories like that, especially when there's a risk of my favourite characters getting hurt, killed, etc, etc.
You're most welcome. But, seriously, there hasn't been a single professional work I've read that's better than your writing. Even Karen Traviss herself has nothing on you (because while her books have all that delicious angst and tension and Obi torture , she not only writes about an Obi pairing I don't support but there's far too little Ani/Obi interaction and h/c for my liking (still, I particularly love that cute little post-sparring scene in her book 'Wild Space'))

Wow! The effect you created with just using 4 colours is really good! The focus is totally on the point where Obi-Wan is being stabbed.

Come to think of it, the guys at Lucasfilm should turn the entire fic (or at least the ROTS arch) into a movie. Seriously. I can't think of a way to describe how awesome it is (I could get drunk on all that lovely Ani/Obi-ness...)
