Thanks for the praise; now that you mention it he DOES look a bit like Batman. I guess cowl/mask + scowl are pretty much Batman's key descriptors and I have been sketching him pretty recently. I was trying to avoid the typical anime lines of Final Fantasy characters and make it something more my own.
