You're probably right about the positioning (actually, yeah, you're definitely right), but this was back in the 'fooling around with the camera' stage, so we weren't trying to recreate anything specifically. Β 

This camera was a Canon Powershot SX20 IS. Most of our recent shots are my newer Canon Rebel T3i, though. ^^

Ahh, the wig. I got it from ebay (ebay is your friend!), but I haven't been able to locate the same seller for awhile now to direct people. Searching 'brown curly wig' should come up with a lot of options for you, however. You probably won't find a perfect one - the one I have took a whole lot of styling before it came to look as it does now, so you'll probably just have to find one that's close and see where you can take it from there!

Now, I'm not even CLOSE to an expert when it comes to makeup. As in, I (Silhouette) hardly wear it even day-to-day. But I did makeup for both of us and I suppose it's to have some reference pictures around for starters. Look where there are more shadows on Benedict's face (around the eyes, for example, and of course the cheekbones) and where highlights are more prominent (again, cheekbones, and the browline, and around his lips as well). It's a lot of trial and error, to be honest. Hope that helps!

I'd hardly say exact, my hair/wig is still doing funky curly things which you can't see in this photo... you got my good side in this one. John was laughing to hard to look up.
