Description Just a piece of fan art based on the Myst series of computer games. My siblings and I have always been facinated with the concept, story line, and literature of the Myst worlds, and this is my humble homage to it.

This is an awesome pic. Makes me imagine Myst as a movie.

I only wish real books worked like Linking Books. Imagine the Odyssey, Lord of the Flies, Lord of the Rings, or the Choose Your Own Adventure books! That would be freaking awesome!

Now I feel like the Stranger all over again. I now like to imagine this is how the world looks when you open the linking book.

Great work. If I was ever to see the MYST series made into a movie, I would have imagined the linking books as this. Great job!

Dude I can't tell you how much I like this deviation. I think you capture the beauty that is Myst, discovery. The smoke effect of the book is just awesome. I can definitely imagine this in real life. Man how wicked is this.

Thanks for the comment. As for the smokey effect on the Age picture, I used photoshop, using a blur edge eraser tool, a blur tool, the smudge tool, and an opacity fader of 75%.

wow, you did a marvelous job, i dont know if i would be able to make that sort of effect using that. and photo shop is the best . My dad uses it for a living, and when i lived with him, i loved to edit and create new photos, and aparently, since i experimented. I ended up teaching my dad some tricks
