Haha Finally! I finished. This is a parody-crossover-fan art of Boy with a Basket of Fruit and Adam Jensen, the hero of new Deus Ex series. The most prolonged painting was Sleeping Dogs fan art, but this painting takes long time, too. Almost a month. I got interesting in texture and lighting by this painting. It was hard but good challange to me.Original size: 3400*3600

Thank you. By the way While I did this painting I felt that it`s funny. We call such painters - Caravaggio, Reni, Rubens and Rembrandt - "Baroque" painters. We know that "humanist" made the word "Gothic" and "modern human" made the word "The Renaissance". But are there clear borders between ages of history? They said Advance, humanism, duty of human, such things. On the other hand, they exploited other parts of the world and justified it. Looking charecters like David Sarif I had bitter smile.

very honest. i think humanist is in contradiction to Gothic, the aka fear factor. i think you're revealing, the new fear that's not candy but more like danger, choose your path.

to slayerwulfe / Thank you. And I meant "Gothic" "humanist" as the culture historical word. Frankly I don`t know well about "Gothic"or "Goth" as the subculture code.
Italian Humanists of the renaissance age used the word "Gothic" same as "barbaric" "barbarous". Because they believed Goths destroyed Rome and its culture in europe. The ancient Greece and ancient Rome(before fall of western roman empire) are the ideal age for western Humanists, so they looked down any "Not classical" thing.
