You are very welcome, I need to get a copy of Civ, any of em seeing how much I enjoy passing time with that style game when I'm not in the mood for more complex stuff. Especially Civ one as I really want to learn shading for planets in pixel art, I have a upcoming project that I have to make views from space of a couple of planets.
In particular I am doing a Bionicle based series and I want Sphereus Magna and a moon that is part of a alternate time line called Matorus Magna. You wouldn't by chance have a copy of the original Civilization that you could grab a screen shot or two from would you? I hate to ask cause I don't like bothering others but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Heh I had a hunch right after I asked and you were right, I found the sprites on Spriter's Resource I was looking for them in the wrong section as on their site they have it sorted by full title. So I looked in the C directory for Civilization when it is listed as Sid Meier's Civilization, so it was in the S directory.
I hope you get to enjoy it yourself one day, from my research it may be available on Abandon Ware, but I also think steam and Gog have it for sale. Well Gog may I just searched Steam they have 4 and 5 but no lower entries. Thanks again and take care.

This is so cool!! I actually have that SAME EXACT desk!!! After using it for a bit though i totally took the entire shelf things off the top so I had more desk space where I could stack stuff and whatnot. XD This is such a nice pixel :3Β

That absolutely has to be Civilization 2 or 3. Those are the only two that match that perspective (aside from Alpha Centauri, which didn't have green ground).
Based on the scope of the tiles, and the use of border lines, I am going to guess Civilization 3.Β

It was my introduction to the series, myself, and it began a lifetime love of the genre. I still think that 4 is a technically superior game, especially after expansions, but 3 will always hold a special place in my heart.Β
Actually, I take that back. Alpha Centauri was my first exposure, but I was too young to know what was happening in the game. Civ 3 was the first one where I knew what I was doing.Β

Honestly, in my mind, Civ 4 HAD that isometric look. It wasn't until I was trying to decipher your drawing that I realized my memory was wrong. I think my nostalgia is merging the best elements of the two games into one.Β

Looking at it, at first I thought C&C GDI campaign because of the green grass and stuff... but the white/cream stuff to the east of that grey structure stikes me more as being an ore field... So I'd say, possibly C&C Red Alert.

is the game Civilization 2 was? that one of my personal favorites growing up. I wish I had a copy(with expansions) that I didn't need something like DOSbox to play.
Great work regardless I love all the little details like the power strips and the binders up top. my olnly issue is super, super nitpicky, the tower should be beige to go with the retro game, but I understand if it didn't work with the palette.
