Description
Edit: re-uploaded a better scanned version.I received a new batch of Copic Ciao. I've never used them in my life, so here's my first try with them.
At first I felt very depressed because (as usual) I couldn't work like all the cool girls outta here. I watched/read a few tutorials, I made my own Copic Colour Chart, I rearranged my palette and decided to create my own style, which is a feathering/dabbing one. Miriam style.
Unfortunately I can't use my own scanner, so I had to apply some gaussian blur in order to soften the sharp strokes that came out with the scanner. Maybe when I get home I'l re-upload it ^_^

This came out pretty nicely.
Don't worry, smooth transitions between strokes comes with experience. It has to do with muscle memory in your hand.
For your first try with these, it's really good.

Actually, the problem I was talking about with the strokes comes from the scanner type. It's an (veeery) old Officejet, similar to the one I had years ago. It's totally unfit for certain types of sketches and tiny ink strokes. It tends to turn the delicate details into ugly, uneven, sharp, scratchy stripes... reminds me of the way ol' Paint Shop Pro drestroyed sketches during the resizing process. Maybe it has something to do also with the anti-alias function, what do you think?
Thanks btw
