Large file, sorry.Last month, Fayt turned five. FIVE. DAMN.
So here are all of her designs over the years. So much change, I know. |D
January 2005:
(base template thing from someone on neopets)
Dark gray with lighter gray underbelly/markings. Light light gray socks with white paws. Black stars not even with each other. I made her after watching Wolf's Rain.
October 2005:
Ditched the light-light gray socks and made them white. Put the stars at the same height.
January 2006:
Changed the tail marking.
May 2006:
Added the nose/snout/forehead marking.
November 2007:
Darkened the grays.
November 2008:
Lengthened tail design.
February 2010:
Lightened colors a tad. (:

Personally, I love the first traditional picture of her in 2006, but the current design (not that it changed much xD) is the best~ More traditional Fayt pleaseee?

I agree with you. Her latest ref was something I quickly threw together and didn't bother with correct anatomy -shot-

I don't find it distracting. It's a lot better than most wolf pictures out there, if I must say so myself. People and their anorexic sparkledogs.

well it is much better but im finiky over little details thats why i hate going through some of my old work even if they were from a couple months ago since i screwed something up

with me its usually like the back leg or a joint sometimes its an eye so usually the small stuff

That usually what I spot too. Or the head is too small/big, legs too short/long, etc.

Yeah. I've toyed with completely changing her over the years, but I have yet to create something that can replace this and still be her. I could never be someone who changes their fursona like it's going out of style. I don't get people like that.

When I look at her, I don't think she's really changed at all. All fursona "over the years" I've seen all have so many dramatic changes so me doing this was just for lols. |D
