Takao Kazunari was pretty much your closest friend at Shutoku. And you kind of developed a crush on the basketball player.

Your first meeting with the hawk eye was quite interesting. You were walking through Shutoku after school, so it was pretty empty, when you suddenly heard the lyrics to one of your favourite OLDCODEX songs.

You couldn't help but hum along. The males voice was also pretty good. You slowly started to pick up your pace, wanting to know the source of the voice. As you turned the corner he started to sing the bridge:

As you jogged down the hall you saw him, walking towards you as he continued to sing. You giggled at how into the song he seemed to be. The chorus was coming up and you were only steps away from him, when you joined in, singing at the too of your lungs.

You two continued to sing, ending at the first chorus before bursting out laughing.

"You love OLDCODEX too?" You grinned at the ebony male, eyes lighting up with excitement.

"Of course!" He smiled fist pumping the air, "I must know the name of my new friend." He simply stated, placing his hand on your shoulder, his grin slowly turning into a wide smile.

You blinked questioningly at his statement, "Friend?"

"Yes! You're an OLDCODEX fan and you seem pretty awesome."

You scoffed at his comment, "I AM awesome!" You two couldn't help but burst into laughter, "Oh (l/n) (f/n), it's nice to meet you..."

"Takao Kazunari," he playfully smiled, draping his arm over your shoulders. "I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship."

You laughed once more, "T-that just sounds way too corny!"

Takao dramatically gasped at your comment, acting as though he was hurt, before laughing along with you.

It really was the start of a beautiful friendship, maybe even more if you got the courage to confess to him.
