Thank you! I was satisfied with how frisk came out, but--for some reason--I couldn't figure out where I went wrong with Chara. Why are emotions so difficult for me to portray in my art? :/
Man, when all the art for UndertaleΒ started popping up on the web, I really didn't understand what the fuss was about. I didn't have the right encouragement to get into the fandom. Seeing images of the actual game didn't inspire me either. Then I heard a song parody two years after the game's peak in popularity and found myself invested. I decided to watch an episode of a let's play that Cry did and I was attached. I have played the game through the pacifist rout like 3 times now and it still has the same impact. I kind of have hope that maybe there is something there that hasn't been discovered yet. I really can't bring myself to go through the genocide rout. That would break my heart. I love the characters too much...
Oops, wow, that turned into a rant. I guess you could say this has been my latest obsession.

What type of emotion are you trying to portray with Chara? It's really hard for me to portray characters' emotions as well, unless they're really exaggerated.
D'aww, you're too kind Marisa. I think that's what some of the streamers said too after they had finished the Pacifist route - which I can understand because the characters are all quite adorable in their own ways. Even as the audience, the ending made me feel fuzzy and emotional. Are you playing the game without references (wiki) to find different easter eggs/routes?
For me, Alphys' character is relateable as heck (to my younger self). I appreciate most characters as much as each other, though
I need something new and shiny for myself to indulge in, but work from every way has seemed to dry up my interest for a lot of things, bleh
