what's got you depressed? if there's one thing I know about it's being depressed, and how to help people out of it when I can

Just my brain being dumb. I used to date a guy, and I really want to be friends but he has a lot of growing up to do and I quit giving into him in June. So Ive been thinking a lot about that and if I did the right thing. I guess its just generalized anxiety.Β

well as someone who's been in that situation before. you did the right thing. sometimes people just don't want to grow up or they just can't realize the person that's trying to help them really cares. I used to date this girl that used me for years and never changed. and after I gave up on her my life, while more empty for sure. slowly got better.

I hope so. Even though I have tons of people on here saying how pretty and whatever I am, it feels like a lot of people in my real life are too busy to talk about nothing for 15 minutes. Sometimes its nice to talk about bullshit.Β

That's expensive. Hello is easy, It costs no time and no effort. Friendships take a lot of investment. Being someones friend means sharing part of your life with them and we don't like things that don't serve us right now.Β

Exactly. I'm a very VERY passionate, and empathetic person. I work with elderly and they love to talk. Anyone who asks me why I do what I do for a living, I always tell them that these people have wonderful, awesome stories. They never snapchatted or instagrammed, they LIVED. Thats one thing I hate about the world we live in. No time for others.

I don't mind the superficial relationships with superficial people. I don't need people like that any longer that I have to deal with them. I need someone I can curl myself into and listen to them breathe. I need someone can experience life with.. Old people are always fun to listen to. I fear we wont have any interesting stories to share with our grandkids cause all we did was surf facebook all day xD

Yikes. Im a Florida girl. Born in Daytona. Havent lived there in a while. Sure do miss the jellyfish migrating to Cocoa Beach though. Used to catch em in a paint bucket and poke the tops. lol
