Auto-buyer reward for a client who adopted Hayabusa, one of my battle/ninja dog designs. The client put a lot of effort into this character's backstory and I was extremely honored to hear about it. I might've designed these characters' visual appearances, but it was definitely the adopters who breathed life into them. It was so cool to experience.

Hayabusa has endured a lot of battles in her life, so we ended up making her quite scarred. Here I decided to draw her without her suit in order to show off the scars on the right side of her body (which aren't clearly visible in her actual reference sheet). We also made Hayabusa's brown markings darker and more saturated, which was the client's idea! I think her colors look much better now, compared to my original design.
