Last monthβs work. Tried my hand at some speed-painting. I figured I could finish in about 2-3 hours, and instead 10 hours got magically sucked off one Monday
I blame it on the painful making and highlighting of those overlapping bodies.Reference-free, effect-free, and filter-free as always.

Errr... tutorials on wings eh? Sorry, don't know any, and I didn't use any specific technique for this one either. In my case I just studied a lot of references, especially old impressionist paintings. That helped a great deal

It's creepy in a way but then again - plain lovely.
I like the coloring and the bodies. Some look like they are sleeping - others very dead. For me it creates an interesting effect.

It's more like of getting to the top of the foodchain by stepping on others. Not a very good morale in all, just felt like illustrating the uncanny inclination in modern society.
