My new falcon, Arrow! This little passage Kestrel came to me from a rehab friend
He had a wing break, it healed cleanly, and now he needs someone to help him gain muscle and figure out hunting! Can't wait to get him going His name comes from the idea that he must be pulled back (wing break) to launch forward (healing, falconry, eventual release).

Around my neighborhood we have a mated pair of kestrels and every morning I see one of them and they're just going keekeeekeeekeee with their squeaky falcon voices they're adorable
