I've been wanting to announce this for a little while but I wanted to keep it a secret until now! Say hello to the FIRST EVER QuillDog-Jackaluna Hybrid! This Hybrid will be treated much the same as other hybrids, such as Quillixes, in that they will be formally listed on the Masterlists of both Jackalunas and QuillDogs and included chronologically, but will not be given an official number. I tried to take and utlize aspects of my jackaluna base and incorperate into this design.. had a lot of fun with this one! <3

This beautiful creature is the product of a pairing between a QuillDog and a Jackaluna. QuillDog and Jackaluna pairings are rumoured about in the distant past, but it wasn't until recently that this one was discovered! One interesting note is that these hybrid creatures tend to be solitary, having trouble identifying with what and who they are. This particular creature sports a stunning Eclipse Lunai, but also sports intriguing powers from its QuillDog side that radiate with power-- not only with the lunar cycle, but also the solar one! This hybrid has the ability to bring darkness and shadow anywhere it pleases, into physical spaces but also into the heart and minds of creatures that are unfortunate to cross its path. This creature can put the world in pitch blackness when eclipses occur. It can push sadness and confusion into even the most good hearts, and confuse even the shadows themselves when it comes. They say if you spot this creature, never look at its shadow, or you will be cursed!
