Oh, what is this? Another QuillDog has been confirmed! #77 is here, a specimen rated "Rare" with the theme, "Shadowed Winter."

This QuillDog makes its home in frozen tundra lands, and quite fancies the light of the moon. Blessed by a lonesome winter mage long, long ago, this QuillDog has magical abilities-- including an interesting marking upon it. The marking is that of a translucent magpie shadow, with the ability to become a marking and perch itself within the barren tree marking. Or, it can come out of the pelt and fly alongside the QuillDog or perch upon its quills as it travels. The entity is completely a shadow-- not an actual animal, and is soulless. The magpie shadow can only come out when darkness is available-- sunlight prohibits it from moving out of the pelt! This QuillDog, quiet, wise and just, usually stays uninvolved in regards to travelers. It does have the ability to manipulate the shadows and snow around it, and can easily and elusively camouflage into its environment. Its pawpads can force running water to become ice in an instant, allowing it to travel almost anywhere water's present. The tree marking upon its chest also serves as wooden-like protection for the creature's ribcage and shoulderblade.
