I wanted to make a design celebrating St. Valentine's Day, but I didn't want it overly red and hearts and chocolates and whatnot... so this is what I've created! c:

Many moons ago, a couple would meet every night under the shaded canopy of a large tree at the edge of a vast forest. The two had genuine love for each other, often talking late into the night about hopes and dreams and wonders. They carved their initials into the tree, declaring their love for one another. The tree was a sacred magical tree, and by carving their initials into the tree, they bonded part of their souls and love into the tree itself.

Hundreds of years later, the couple was long gone to the sands of time, and the sacred tree sat willowed and dying, now surrounded by thick smog and urbanization. One day, the tree was deemed a hazard and was chopped down. The spirit of the sacred tree escaped its wooden, twisted frame as it was being chopped and felled to the ground, and the tree's spirit fused the energy of the souls and love within the initials in order to save itself, and the spirit transformed itself into a unique QuillDog with tree-like branches.

They say that the city workers who cut down the tree saw the magical tree spirit appear and transform, and that they were frightened for days after seeing such a scene! The tree spirit QuillDog is said to still roam the urbanized streets and alleyways, ivy and vegetation seeming to spring up even over concrete and gravel wherever she travels. Legend says that if you have the chance to catch a good look at her coat, that she still carries the initials that were once carved into her when she was within the sacred tree. Finding one of her beautiful petals is said to bring good luck, much like four-leaf clovers.

This is the 479th QuillDog in existence and is rated Rare.

There IS a snipe guard of two hours! For a bid to be valid after auction closing time, it must be placed within two hours of the last valid bid.

You will have up to 48 hours to pay after the bid closes; if you fail to pay within the 48 hours, the next highest bidder will have a chance to pay and obtain the design.
