I haven't had the desk space to draw for the past couple of weeks, so instead I played through Persona 5, which is an amazing game. Surprising nobody, Yusuke is my fave, so I painted him now I can find room to use my tablet againPersona 5 © Atlus

Yusuke is second best boy for me, since Akira Kurusu is best boy for me. I love the idea of most of it is him in his Phantom Thief outfit, but then you have him almost transforming back into his real world clothes. That background reminds me of the painting he did for that art competition he entered. Even having a paint brush in his hand is a nice touch. The way he is holding his mask works so well for him.

Joker is also a quality boy~ And thank you, I thought a lot about the composition for this so I’m glad you think it works! And yeah, I used that painting as reference for the background to some extent, because I really liked it. I think it deserved to win accolades in its original form, even if the critics didn’t :3

It's a shame he had to paint over the original... They'd make excellent companion pieces. I like how both looked, though I actually think I slightly prefer the first one

True and makes me wonder if Yusuke would ever decide to recreate the original piece again. I think it would be a good idea for him to do that.
