Height: 10' at the crown of the neck, 6'1" at the top of the skull (human)
Age: Around 24-ish

Town: Morran forest
Personality:
Back in his world, Gyrj was one of several consorts to the lead female of his pack... And the least of the consorts at that. As a result, he is used to fighting for most things he wants and sees nothing wrong and nothing personal with attempting to fulfill his own agenda. Yes, he will rummage through your things if they are unattended. No, he won't be offended if you bonk him on the nose for it, and he expects you wont hate him afterwards. He doesn't truly respect other males unless they a) beat him at something thoroughly or b) are clearly too large to take on/down. Smaller males, in terms of size or age, he views as sexless drones, and usually is quite jovial with. As for the ladies, weak willed ones are, again, viewed as drones, and will get his rather playful side. Strong willed women earn his instant loyalty and usually unwelcome attention, especially if they best him at something.

That being said, since arriving, he has become increasingly nervous alone, and is prone to lingering near others, even if he doesn't necessarily like them. Pack animal habits die hard...

Is there anything you feel very STRONGLY that your character NOT be drawn doing?: (Kissing another character, etc).
Eh, not really. Though, if you character is shorter/taller than Gyrj's human form, you should probably tailor his reactions to you. Or note me about it I guess.

Are you okay with your character being drawn with other characters without being asked first?:
Yup, I'm fine with it. I would like to be informed eventually though... cause I'm a fangirl...

Woooo! Finally finished all the art. had to stay up all night to do it. So, I didn't really want to put any texty stuff on the page, since I have a tendency to write too much and there is a lot about Gyrj to say. I hope to eek out his story in my challengey thingies instead. But, a few notes:

-Gyrj's species (Dnisni, pronounced "Niss-Knee") is akin to naked mole rats, in that they have a fertile "Queen", a couple fertile males she rotates through, and lots of lil' sexless workers. Gyrj was the last and final selection of the Queen, and the youngest in her entourage, so he got a lot of crap from the other males. Because a male could potentially be forced out of the Queen's favor by an unaffiliated male or a drone that has trained itself up, and younger, less experienced males are more likely to be challenged, Gyrj lived a harassed life.

-Dnisni excel at excavating elaborate tunnels, partially by digging, but mainly by warping dirt and stone with a kind of persuasive magic. This is of course dampened in Hetherev.

-Dnisni have human forms to make trading and interactions with the residents of their world a bit easier, but usually don't wear anything. Gyrj's little rag/dress get up was taken from a dead body he showed up in Hetherev with.... As was the shiny, shiny locket.

-The weird dangle bits on Gyrj's ears are actually ear coverings, which he can retract into his sensitive ears to protect them from dirt, loud noises, irritating people...

-Gyrj has a horrible sense of smell, but awesome hearing and sight. He also has pretty good ramming strength, if you count that as a sense (Gyrj does ^_^ )

-Gyrj prefers to eat tubers and grubs, but will go for anything readily available and easy to catch

-Gyrj has no idea why he has three claw marks on his side
